Mark and Louise welcome you all to The Horseshoes Inn, a comfortable flagstoned pub with a local feel (there may be horses in the car park) situated in the village of Rennington, just north of Alnwick.

Whether a regular or a visitor, step inside and take a leap back in time to the days of kindly, warming hostelries, with the smiling staff providing as much of a warm welcome as the fire glowing in the hearth.

At The Horseshoes Inn, you will enjoy well kept ales as we have featured in the Good Beer Guide for the last two years, serving Hadrian and regular guest ales. Good value food at lunchtime and in the evening with a varied menu and selection of specials from the board all cooked using good local fish and meat.

We also have a selection of wines by the glass or bottle with food.

Children very welcome and there are tables outside to enjoy the garden and watch the world go by.

We are very happy to host private parties, christenings anniversaries etc. Talk to us and we will help you plan the event.

Every August Bank Holiday, the village is swamped by visitors, and not all of them moving as the village holds its scarecrow competition to entertain and amuse in the annual festival of everything straw! Well worth a visit.
